Vehicle and suspect sought in hit and run crash.

NEW IBERIA, La. -- Officers with the New Iberia Police Department responded to a pedestrian crash.

The crash took place on May 4 at approximately 8:45 p.m., in the 200 block of Henry Street. During investigation, police learned the vehicle, a gray 2013 to 2018 Nissan Altima was traveling west on Henry Street, when it hit the pedestrian. The vehicle fled the scene westbound on Henry Street. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries during the crash and was transported to a local hospital.

The New Iberia Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects vehicle and/or the suspect. If you have any information in reference to the crash, contact the New Iberia Police Department at 337-369-2306.
